I · The brief
A heritage-tour operator was watching half their visitors abandon self-guided tours mid-walk. Audio was prerecorded and linear; the visitor's location had nothing to do with what they were hearing. They wanted a guide that knew where you were and pushed the right story at the right time.
II · What we built
- —iOS, Android, and web apps sharing a single content model.
- —Live presence tracking that pushes the right narration at each waypoint.
- —A Spotify-style player with offline downloads for low-signal sites.
- —A CMS for curators to edit narration, swap voice talent, and reorder routes.
- —A quiet analytics layer that tracks completion without phoning home about identity.
"Half our visitors used to bail mid-tour. Not anymore."

IV · What we'd do differently
We'd start the iOS app two weeks earlier. The backend was ready and waiting for a week while we finished designs we could have resolved in sketches. We know this now. It's on the wall.
